Central Administrative Tribunal told to be cautious on AIS complaints

IPS officers have already approached CAT against provisional allotment of the cadre

Hyderabad: Apprehending chances that several officers belonging All India Service seek legal redress, the Union of India on Wednesday moved a caveat before the Hyderabad bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal.

Some IPS officers have already approached the Tribunal against the provisional allotment of the cadre to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. In the wake of expecting final notification from the Centre with regard to cadre allotment to both the states, the Centre is expecting that several officers may move the Tribunal against the allotment.

The Centre, in its caveat, urged the Tribunal not to grant any interim order without hearing its stand on the allocation of the cadre to both the states.
