Anil Kapoor remembers Bapu

Hyderabad: Not many people know that Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was introduced to films by the Telugu film director Bapu, who passed away couple of days back.

Anil Kapoor had made his debut into the film industry with a Telugu film Vamsa Vruksham that was directed by Bapu. It was only later that he went on to act in the Hindi film industry.

Several actors felt that it was a blessing to work with the legendary director, and Anil Kapoor was one of them. Saddened by the news of the director’s sudden death, the actor said. “Bapusaab was my mentor, guru, guide and philosopher. I learnt so much from him about cinema and life.”
