Maruti Suzuki Ciaz launching, expect a price below Rs 10 lakh

Maruti Suzuki stopped the production of the SX4 sedan, only to reveal that they are all set to launch the version upgrade with the introduction of the Ciaz.

With Maruti Suzuki’s teaser ads all over the news today, the Ciaz is due to launch anytime now and the expected price is anywhere between Rs 7 Lakh to Rs 10 Lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was revealed as a concept car at the recent Auto Expo. The concept car seemed to have great facelift, which looks like a luxury sedan.

Indian Autos Blog reported that their sources reported the car pre-booking sales to begin on September 3. However, according to another report on the same blog, Suzuki revealed the same car under the name Alivio at the Auto Expo in China this year.

The Ciaz will be available in two variants—petrol (VXi, VXi+, ZXi) and three diesel engine options (VDi, VDi+ and ZDi).

Ciaz is a complete package of contemporary design, best-in-class fuel efficiency, host of upmarket features such as SmartPlay in-car infotainment system, Auto Day/ Night IRVM, projector headlamps, glass integrated antenna, reverse parking sensors, reverse parking camera, electric trunk lid opening and intelligent key (push start/ stop) . The Ciaz comes with several of these upmarket features in the base trim (V), as well.

Chief Engineer of Ciaz, Mr. Hidetoshi Kumashiro suggests, “The best thing is not to just see the car but drive it to feel how good it is.” He adds, “People will be surprised how a comfortable car can have a sporty performance. We spent a lot of time sitting on the rear seat of the Ciaz.” You can experience these.

Ciaz, the longest, widest saloon is Suzuki’s most aerodynamic sedan ever created-contributing to best in class fuel efficiency and sleek contours. The Ciaz is equipped with stylish projector headlamps. As an industry first, the projector headlamps are offered as a standard feature across all trim levels.
