Committee for Visakhapatnam metro rail

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday appointed a technical committee to scrutinise and finalise bids for Metro Rail Project being taken up by the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. the GVMC had proposed the project in four corridors in the city for a stretch of 20 km and called for bids for DPR preparation with Rs 1.60 crore and six consultants have expressed their interested to take up the task. Further, the corporation wrote to the state government for appointing a technical committee that scrutinises the bids.
