Kerala IT Minister P K Kunhalikutty says CM chair is safe

The minister claimed that Travancore Titanium case will not have any serious impact on CM
KOCHI: The order by the Thiruvananthapuram vigilance court in the Travancore Titanium case will not have any serious impact on the position of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, said Industries and IT Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty here on Friday.
He, however, added that this was his initial impression and that he had not read the full text of the order. A detailed response would be made after reading the order in full, he said. The issue was not “as serious as made out by the media,” he said.
Power Minister Aryadan Muhammad said that there was no evidence against the Chief Minister or other ministers in the case.
Mr Chandy had a meeting with UDF convener P.P. Thankachan at the Aluva guest house on Friday morning. The meeting assumed importance in the background of the vigilance court verdict as well as the scheduled visit of Mr. Chandy and Excise Minister K. Babu to Delhi.
