Bengaluru: The BJP MPs from Karnataka have decided to establish a BJP-Karnataka Parliamentary Party cell in New Delhi. This was decided at a meeting of party MPs held here on Wednesday. Talking to Deccan Chronicle party state president Pralhad Joshi said people had high expectation from BJP MPs. "To live upto their expectations, we have decided to set up a cell in New Delhi so that we can get Karnataka related work done and get more funds for Karnataka from central schemes."
The MPs decided to meet every month and discuss the issues and works taken up by various MPs and the revision of works. "When Parliament is in session, Karnataka BJP MPs will meet every week," he said adding that guidelines would be given to all the MPs on the dos and donts. The MPs agreed to shoulder the work given by the party. "All the MPs were told to constantly be in touch with district and taluk presidents so that they can take up party work too,' he added.
