Hyderabad: Director Merlapaka Gandhi, who tasted success with his debut film Venkatadri Express, will direct Sushanth in his next film. According to a source, the film will start rolling in a few weeks. “The director was supposed to direct another film with Nithiin, but he was busy with other films and was not available. So when Sushanth liked a story that Gandhi narrated the two of them decided to work together,” says a source.
Sushanth was on a long break, a deliberate one as he was waiting for a good story to come along, after his last film Adda, which was released in 2013. “He was on the lookout for an all-out entertaining storyline and agreed quickly as he was happy with Gandhi’s story. This will be a good film for Sushanth,” says the source.
