All contributions towards the PMNRF are exempted from income-tax

New Delhi: In a bid to mop fund for the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, all Central ministries and departments have been asked by a PMO directive to display the message on their websites and inform masses that such donations will give them tax concessions.
While all contributions towards the PMNRF are already exempted from income-tax under Section 80(G) of the Income-Tax Act, the message on government websites will help increase contributions, the circular said.
