New York: Serena Williams is a powerhouse of a player and 17 Grand Slams (in women’s singles) is a healthy indicator to prove that she belongs to the Tennis’ Hall of Fame list.
But when she is not on the court, she is known to be jovial; without giving up on her tennis skills. That was apparent when she appeared on David Letterman show in New York ahead of US Open 2014.
While Serena spoke briefly about tennis et al on the show, the host and his six-time US Open champion guest also played a game of street tennis.
