What were they thinking?

The actors thinking while shooting emotional and dramatic scenes

Mumbai: Ever wondered what the stars are actually thinking while shooting those emotional and dramatic scenes that our daily shows are filled with? Read on for a peek into their minds...

Divyanka Tripathi: I had to shout for a scene with my co-actor Sharad Malhotra for Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, where he’s shot by a bullet. He’s lying on my lap and I’m crying like crazy. Suddenly, in between the shot, we had to cut because suddenly I get this funny runny nose. The entire unit goes hysterical. It was more visible than my tears. I could have dug a hole and gone underground out of embarrassment.

Ishita Ganguly: We were shooting for a sequence for Shashtri Sisters with Rajesh Jais, who essays the role of our father in the show. He was supposed to be angry with us and we were supposed to be upset about it. But things took a funny turn when his fake moustache fell off while shouting and we could not control our laughter. We had to wait a while before we could regain our composure and start shooting again.

Shivin Narang: Veera is a show with a Punjabi background and certain Punjabi words if not pronounced properly can sound very funny. We were shooting in Film City with around 100-200 people. The scene was about somebody blaming my family for something wrong that had happened. One character fumbled with a Punjabi word and I burst out laughing. And when I start laughing it’s very difficult to stop me.
