Hungry for power? BJP to strengthen party in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hindu culture means everyone is one & same & deserves equal rights and treatment

Hyderabad: Newly nominated BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav on Monday said that the Central leadership will do everything to strengthen the party in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states and to gear up to a stage of coming to power in the 2019 general elections.

Addressing a media conference in New Delhi on Monday, Mr Ram Madhav said as part of the initiative, party president Amit Shah will be visiting Telangana state capital on August 21 and 22 and have a series of meetings with leaders and cadres of the party. “If we compare with AP, the BJP is strong and more cadre based in Telangana state, and we will strengthen the party in both the states,” he said.

Mr Ram Madhav hailed the initiative taken by Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan in convening joint meeting of Telangana and AP Chief Ministers and higher officials to the negotiating table to resolve all the contentious issues. “It is a very good beginning and I hope such meetings would take place in future also to thrash out all the issues, I sincerely advise both the Chief Ministers to compete more effectively on the development front so that states are benefited,” Ram Madhav observed.

Defending the comments made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat on the Hindu nation, the former RSS ideologue Ram Madhav said there is nothing to find fault with the statement and Opposition is bent upon criticising him for nothing. “RSS is wedded to Hindu culture which everybody knew. Hindu culture means everyone is one and same and deserves equal rights and treatment. I don’t find any illogical issue in this,” he added.
