Coimbatore:Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd launched Bharatgas mini 5 kg LPG cylinders on Thursday. An BPCL official said in a statement that Bharatgas mini will benefit the general public,
floating population, IT professionals, BPO employees and students. They just need an ID proof.
According to the release, Bharatgas mini 5 kg LPG cylinder can be got instantly with just proof of identity and it is portable enough to be carried anywhere. The mini gas can be used in homes, offices, holiday homes, hostels, and canteens, said the statement. The mini cylinder connection can be procured Rs 1,000 for a cylinder and Rs 250 for the regulator taxes are applicable.
The mini gas is available in all BPCL fuel outlets in the city, added the companyMr Pradeep Nair, territory manager, LPG, launched the product in the presence of Mr Arul Muthunathan, territory manager (retail), along with other officers, distributors and dealers of Bharat Petroleum, said the news release.
