Three Sub inspectors suspended for failing to curb gambling practice

Hyderabad: Police commissioner C.V. Anand on Tuesday suspended three sub-inspectors for their alleged negligence in curbing gambling practices in their areas. The commissioner also served charge memos to three assistant commissioners of police and seven station house officers for the same reason. The suspended SIs are B. Rambabu from Alwal police station, A. Venkat from Kukatpally police station, and Anil from Uppal police station.
Kukatpally ACP T. Sai Manohar, Malkajgiri ACP Ch Chennaiah and Alwal ACP G. Prakash Rao received the charge memos from the police chief for lack of supervision. Police Inspe-ctors of Alwal, Uppal, Kukatpally, Mailardevpally, Raidurgam, Meerpet and Ibrahimpatnam also received charge memos for not taking action against gambling dens in their areas.
