Hyundai to launch Elite i20 variant with touchscreen infotainment system

New Delhi: Launched for the first time in August 2014, Hyundai had introduced the new version of its premium compact car i20, the i20 Elite. As reported by Indian Express, Hyundai now plans to launch the top variant of the Elite i20 with a touchscreen infotainment, which may feature an in-built navigation system, multemidea capability and a handsfree facility. Also, the new variant is expected to be launched on July 8th, 2015.

The second generation model, i20 Elite, competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki's Swift and Volkswagen Polo, which are priced between Rs 4.42 lakh and Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The petrol versions of the car are priced between Rs 4.9 lakh and Rs 6.46 lakh while the diesel variants would retail between Rs 6.09 lakh and Rs 7.67 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Elite i20 was designed at Hyundai Motor's Design Centre Europe in Rsheim, Germany.
