Ramesh Rathod hits out at CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on promises

Former Adilabad MP alleged KCR of duping Telangana people with false promises

Adilabad: Former Adilabad MP Ramesh Rathod on Saturday came down heavily on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, alleging him of duping Telangana people with false promises.

He also alleged that the state government is neglecting the problems faced by the farmers, employed youth, students and contract employees.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Mr Rathod said many farmers are committing suicide unable to cope with the drought but the TRS government failed to come to their rescue by not implementing the crop loans waiver scheme so far as promised in its election manifesto.

He questioned the Chief Minister why he selected few Dalit beneficiaries for distribution of 3 acre land scheme and asked how much land can be purchased with the Rs 5 crore allotted to each district as part of the scheme.
