Hyderabad: A week after the bloody clash between police and fake currency racketeers, in which police constable T. Eshwar Rao, 26, and a gangster were killed in Shamirpet, the police nabbed A. Srikanth, 22, on Friday from Siddipet in Medak district. Sources said, Srikanth is a close associate of notorious criminal A. Ellam Goud. Inspector of police, Shamirpet, T. N. Babji said Srikanth is a new recruit in the gang. He and Mustafa were close friends and neighbours. Apart from petty cases, he has not been involved in major crimes. He will be sent to judicial custody. A manhunt for Goud and others is on.
