Agriculture official attempts suicide

The man took the extreme step due to depression

Hyderabad: Increasing debts drove C. Kishore, 42, superintendent in agriculture department, to attempt suicide by jumping into the Hussainsagar Lake on Friday afternoon. However, he was rescued by lake police immediately. He was handed over to his family after counselling. He took the extreme step due to depression, cops informed. Lake police inspector Janakamma said, Kishore has two kids. He is addicted to alcohol and took loans from several persons. Recently, his mother suffered paralysis and had to be admitted in an old age home. Due to such problems, he decided to kill himself.
