St. Erhard brings taste of Bamberg

Beer is a harmony between malty, sweetness & pleasant bitterness of fine aroma hops

St. Erhard, a craft beer from Bamberg that is now increasingly available in India is actually the collaboration between two management graduates; one from IIM-A. Exported to India, St. Erhard is available in a clear bottle, unlike most other beers, and is rather smooth with a lively hoppy taste.
On the nose, the beer is a harmony between malty, fruity sweetness and the pleasant bitterness of the fine aroma hops. At the palate, hints of roasted malt sweetness are interwoven with courageously used hops, giving the lager characteristics of a stronger, darker beer without emphasising individual flavour components too heavily.

Since it is a craft beer, it is devoid of glycerine and the freshness of it works well with a whole lot of cuisines. Let it be your pick while eating some rich, gravy-based dishes.

Don johnson
Ingredients:
45 ml vodka
20 ml pomegranate liqueur
20 ml blood orange liqueur
15 ml cranberry juice

Method:
Add all ingredients and stir.
Garnish with a blood orange wedge.
Serve in a chilled martini glass.

Pomegranate smash
Ingredients:
60 ml bourbon
30 ml pomegranate juice
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

Method:
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour over ice into a rocks glass.
Sapphire pomegranate
martini

Ingredients:
90 ml Bombay Sapphire gin
2 lime wedges
2 basil leaves
30 ml simple syrup
30 ml club soda
30 ml pomegranate juice

Method:
Muddle first four ingredients.
Add ice to top of glass. Top with club soda and pomegranate juice.
