Samsung sent out invitations for the Unpacked 2014 event to be held on 3rd Sept 2014

Samsung sent out invitations for the Unpacked 2014 event, which is to be held on 3rd Sept 2014 simultaneously in Berlin, Beijing and New York City. This event will kick off at 9 a.m. ET (6:30 pm IST). If you are not in any of the cities then don’t worry it will be Live Streaming on Samsung Mobile’s YouTube Channel.

There is no confirmed news about Samsung’s list of devices to be showcased during the event but there are hints that indicate that Note 4 will be the Star of the Show. Interestingly all the Note Series phones have been announced during late August and early September (Note I, Note II and Note 3)

With rumored specifications with a 5.7-inch QHD (25601440) display, an Exynos 5433/Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel with a Sony IMX240 sensor and optical image stabilization, an ultraviolet sensor, and at least Android 4.4.3 KitKat.

The invite has altered Air Command wheel with omitted S Finder and Pen

Window function but the Action memo, Scrap Booker and Screen Write functions are retained. It also features a “Manual Selection” tool which indicates that there might be changes in the way you select/copy text and images. Previously user had to hold the button on S pen to select desired content.

As mentioned earlier, these are just rumored features and we do not know as of now what else would be involved. But the rumors of Note 4 have been doing rounds for a while now and we all expect that to come through.

We all are looking forward to the event and the announcements from Samsung. Keep tuned for details and excerpts from the event.
