Raipur: A Chhattisgarh police officer has turned a hero in in social networking sites, when he dared to take action against a youth Congress leader, considered a loyalist of former CM Ajit Jogi, for allegedly indulging in hooliganism and extortions.
Facebook, was flooded with couplets and dialogues of Bollywood blockbusters such as “Singham” and “Dabang” praising the fearlessness the ASP of Rajnandgaon district Shasimohan Singh has displayed by deciding to stand up to challenges following his actions.
The police officer seems to be imagining himself in the character of Salman Khan in the movie “Dabang,” Mr Jogi had remarked.
