Chandrababu Naidu speaks to RBI governor

AP CM is still trying to persuade the RBI to reschedule of crop loans in the state

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in a never-say-die manner is still trying to persuade the Reserve Bank on India to reschedule of crop loans in the state.

Mr Naidu on Thursday spoke with Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan over the phone on rescheduling the crop loans, over which the Central bank has taken a tough stance.

The Chief Minister explained the plight of farmers and requested Mr Rajan to announce the rescheduling of crop loans at the earliest.

The RBI Governor suggested to the Chief Minister to ask his government team to discuss the issue with RBI executive director, according to sources.
