Rs 15 lakh for actress Hansika Motwani painting

Hyderabad: Things can’t get better for Hansika who turns 23 on August 9. Perhaps this could be the best birthday gift that the vivacious beauty would have ever received. Recently, we wrote about the unknown side of the Denikaina Ready star and her passion for painting. The actress had said that she paints for a cause, to build a senior citizen home in future raising funds from her collections.

Even before she could hold an exhibition, some of her family friends, who are apparently her fans right from her child artiste days, have expressed interest to buy the ‘Radha Krishna’ painting, one of her favourites. They have offered Rs 15 lakh for it.

Hansika, who is now holidaying in Madrid, Spain with school friends, after a hectic eight month-long shoot, says, “My mother told me that our family friends from Kolkata had come home for dinner recently. They are fond of me and are big fans as well (she giggles). As they were chatting, I believe one of them brought up the topic of my painting for a cause, and after going through my collection, they were very impressed.”
