Shuttlers, wrestlers aim to add more medals to India's tally

Glasgow: After a rush of gold on day 6 of the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow, Indian wrestlers will once again be in action today. Along with them, India shuttlers will be involved in singles and doubles events. With P V Sindhu and Parupalli Kashyap playing their matches, India can hope for more medals in Glasgow.

Weightlifting: CONFIRMED! Following the Nigerian women's gold winner Chika Amalaha tested positive for banned substance, India's Santoshi Matsa was confirmed as a silver medal winner while Swati Singh, who earlier finished fourth was awarded the bronze medal in the women's 53kg. category.

Wrestling: 4 more medals guaranteed!

Bijneesh Bajrang bagged silver in men's freestyle 61kg wrestling. Canada's David Tremblay grabbed gold.

Lalita settled for silver in women's wrestling freestyle 53kg category. Nigeria's Odunayo Adekuoroye won gold.

Sakshi Malik entered the final of women's Freestyle 58kg by beating Canada's Braxton Rie. Sakshi's compatriot Lalita defeated Scotland's Shannon Hawke to reach final of 53 kg freestyle category.

Bajrang won against Nigeria's Amas Daniel to reach final in men's 61kg category. Satywart Kadian joined the medal brigade as he stormed into the final in 97kg wrestling by defeating England's Rattigan.

Indian wrestler Lalita outshone Mpho Madi from South Africa to reach the semi-finals in women's 53 kg. In men’s 61 kg category,
