As Windows Phone already supports Voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities, Microsoft plans to add VoLTE (Voice over LTE) to Windows 8.1 Phone, thus enabling faster call setup times and much better call quality.
With its shape writing feature, you just slide your finger around the Word Flow keyboard and the words magically take shape. Windows Phone 8.1 will also feature Voice over LTE support, custom lock screens for phone makers, and folders on the Start screen.
