TRS MLA allege that Hari Babu was not doing his work properly

Karimnagar: Choppadandi MLA Bodige Shobha of the TRS asked a superintending engineer of RWS J. Hari Babu to discharge his duties in his native state of “residuary Andhra Pradesh”, alleging that he insensitive in providing drinking water to Sri Anjaneya Swami temple in Kondagattu.

Speaking at the Karimnagar Zilla Parishad special general body meeting here on Friday, Ms Shobha said she was upset with the Mr Hari Babu’s attitude and asked him to leave the district and work in his own state if he was not interested to take part in development of the district.

“The SE is delaying in issuing permission to set up a water filtering facility on the hillock of Kondagattu,” she alleged.

She also accused him of not cooperating with the elected representatives to take up development works in the segment. Mr Hari Babu, however, was not present at the meeting.

Meanwhile, minister for finance and civil supplies Etela Rajender advised Ms Shobha to raise the issue in another meeting to be convened shortly. Ms Shobha also found fault with the Transco SE for not sanctioning transformers to farmers who paid deposits many months ago. However, the SE explained the reason for the delay.
