Andhra Pradesh will allot 30,000 acres of land for its new capital

Large chunks of private lands would also be acquired

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh government wants to build its new capital on about 30,000 acres. Land acquisition will be conducted keeping in view the needs of the capital city that could arise in the next 100 years.

In addition to government land, large chunks of private lands would also be acquired.

The owners of private land will be given a share in the developed layouts later the value of which would be three to four times more compared to that of the undeveloped land acquired from them.

“Best construction experts in the world will be hired as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu wants a world class capital city to be built in AP. Construction giants will give us video presentation on Saturday on existing world class cities, the architects who designed them. The first meeting of the nine-member state government committee for capital city will meet on Saturday,” said municipal minister Dr P. Narayana.
