Bengaluru child rape accused was sacked from first school too

He was also earlier fired from Deens Academy for 'gross misconduct' with girl students

Bengaluru: The six-year-old student may never have been sexually assaulted if rape accused, Mustafa aka Munna, had not landed a job at Vibgyor High School. Had the school bothered to conduct a background check, it would have found that their skating instructor had been fired from Deens Academy on December 16, 2011 for 'gross misconduct' with girl students.

The Principal of Deens Academy, Shanthi Menon told Deccan Chronicle: "Mustafa was warned twice after I had caught him touching students. He lost his job when he was caught for the third time on December 16, 2011."

Mustafa part of porn racket?

Outgoing commissioner of police, Raghavendra H. Auradkar told reporters on Sunday night, that the accused's paedophilia was discovered when his laptop and mobile showed he had downloaded child pornographic videos. Mr Auradkar also alleged that the accused is suspected to be part of a porn racket as he owned a high-end laptop and smart phone despite earning only Rs 18,000 per month.

  • Home Minister K.J. George directed police to file an FIR against Vibgyor High School
  • Police said they finally cracked the case after they found CCTV footage that showed the accused dragging the child near the room where she had been locked up by an insensitive teacher
