Municipal Corporation, in its files for development works, uses ‘Kumbha Mela Pushkaram'

Rajahmundry: There is confusion over the name of the Godavari Pushkaralu-2015 with some calling it a Kumbha Mela Pushakaram, some Maha Pushkaralu while still others saying that it is only Pushakaralu.
Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation, in its files for proposals for development works, has been using the words ‘Kumbha Mela Pushkaram (Maha Pushakara Mela)’. The note on Godavari Pushkarams-2015 prepared by RMC officials states: “Huge number of pilgrims may gather for this pushkaram as this will be the Kumbha Mela Pushakaram or Maha Pushakara Mela”.
RMC commissioner S. Ravindra Babu said, “Whatever be the name, we are making all arrangements for the convenience of the pilgrims.”
