Hyderabad: Kiran is making his debut in Tollywood with I Am In Love. His family is from Guntur and he was raised in Hyderabad.
Kiran who completed his B.Tech from Chennai wanted to be an actor right from his childhood. “I watched a lot of films and my dream was to become an actor. But my parents asked me to complete my education first,” says Kiran. On graduating, Kiran joined an acting school in Hyderabad. “Apart from that I also joined theatre. I participated in many plays and was also appreciated for a Telugu play written by actor Thanikella Bharani,” says Kiran. All these experiences helped him overcome any stage fright or camera consciousness that he may have had. When director Chandrasekhar was looking for lead actors for his film I Am In Love, Kiran auditioned and was selected.“In acting school I made a few videos of myself. The director saw them and selected me,” he says.
He says that the film is an entertaining love story and the director explained the scenes and left him to figure out the acting, “He gave me a lot of freedom and my theatre experience worked out in my favour,” says Kiran. About his future he says that he is looking for well-sketched characters where there is a good scope for acting.
