Telangana appoints nine advocates as law officers to High Court

Appointed advocated will continue in the posts for a period of three years

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday appointed nine advocates as law officers to the High Court to appear in cases pertaining to the Telangana state.

After consultation with the advocate-general, the government issued the orders appointing B. Mahender Reddy, S. Sharath Kumar, A. Sanjeev Kumar and B.S. Prasad as special government pleaders to assist the advocate-general in various matters in defending the stance of the government before the High Court.

P. Pankaj Reddy, R. Rajesh Nehta, A. Najeeb Khan, G. Arun Kumar and C. Venkata Yadav were appointed as the government pleaders of the Telangana state. They will continue in the posts for a period of three years.
