Hyderabad: Young actors Nikhil and Swathi have been paired off a second time in Karthikeya, which is releasing on August 1. Debutant Chandoo Mondeti is directing this film, while B. Venkata Srinivas is producing it. The producer announced the release date and said that recording was going on. The film was supposed to have been released this month, but because of the graphics, it was delayed. “Now, we are planning to release the film in both Telugu and Tamil on August 1. The trailer has generated a lot of buzz,” says the producer. Swathi and Nikhil are playing medical students and the film is touted to be a thriller. Nikhil and Swathi co-starred in last year’s blockbuster Swamy Ra Ra.
