Is Ekta Kapoor angry with Riteish Deshmukh?

The actor denies committing to third installment of Kya Kool Hai Hum
It seems that Riteish Deshmukh’s current good phase in Bollywood is proving to be detrimental to at least one person. We hear that Ekta Kapoor, the head of production house Balaji, is feeling distinctly unhappy that the actor isn’t committing to the third instalment of their hit franchise Kya Kool Hain Hum.
Sources close to Ekta and Riteish told us that the former seemed miffed that Riteish wanted to stay away from the same adult comedies that made him so popular Grand Masti and Kya Kool Hain Hum after receiving critical acclaim for his role in Ek Villain and his Marathi films.
We also hear that Riteish has not turned down the film point blank rather, he has not made time for a formal meeting to discuss the project, which the Balaji team has seen as an indication of his lack of interest.
“Ekta has played an instrumental role in building Riteish’s career and he has a lot of respect for her. But as an actor, only he can decide which film he wants to do. No one else can take that call on his behalf. As an actor, he wants to experiment and grow; doing repetitive roles will have an adverse effect on his career,” explained a source close to Riteish.
The actor has already allotted bulk dates to Yash Raj Films for their much-in-the-news Bank Chor. “With his dates booked by YRF and the birth of his child on the cards, Riteish really cannot commit to any other projects,” the source said.
