K Chandrashekar Rao for memorial parks

The Telangana Chief Minister is keen on providing drinking water, proper infrastructure, roads and sanitation for burial grounds. He insisted on crematoriums in the city, villages and town.

He also wants the concept of memorial parks to be promoted to encourage greenery. “The family members can adopt a tree or plant a sapling in the designated parks set up by the government in memory of their loved ones. On every death anniversary the relatives can visit the tree in memory,” the Chief Minister said.

He also wants theme parks to be set up all over the city to turn the city green.
