Idea’s 3G Wi-Fi dongle offers 21.6 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload speed

New Delhi: Telecom operator Idea Cellular on July 10 launched a 3G Wi-Fi dongle — Smart Wifi — for Rs 2,199 in 11 service areas where it has 3G spectrum.
"Idea 3G Smart Wifi dongle offers 21.6 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload speed and is equipped with an in-built WiFi antenna which can also run on minimal power sources like laptop or car charging point to turn the device into a WiFi Hotspot," Idea said in a statement.
This dongle will be available across 11 markets - Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra & Goa, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh East & West.
