Tabu turns singer for Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Haider'

Kochi: Joining the long list of actor-turned-singers is none other than two-time national award-winning actress Tabu. It is producer-director-composer Vishal Bhardwaj, who has managed to convince the actress to make her debut as a singer.

Tabu will be recording a song Roshe Velle for Vishal’s upcoming film Haider, which is in its final stages of production. The Indianised Hamlet, stars Tabu, Irfan Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in prominent roles. Interestingly, Tabu had sung the song as a part of her act in the film.

But the director has now decided to retain it in the film. Sources reveal that the duo will soon meet to record the song separately for the album.
