Google to pull out Quickoffice from Play and App Store

Google has announced the removal of Quickoffice from the app stores

With the integration of Quickoffice into the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides apps, the Quickoffice app will be unpublished from Google Play and the App Store in the coming weeks, Google said.

Existing users who are using the app can continue to use it without any hindrance. However, no new features will be added henceforth. New users will also not be able to install the app.

Quickoffice is a free app and is still available on the Play Store and Google App till further notice. Users can install and use the app till it is still featuring on the stores. Using Quickoffice, you can create and edit Microsoft office documents, spreadsheets and presentations. You can access documents from Google drive, open PDF files, share files, and attach files to emails using the app. Users should install the app as long as it features on the stores.
