Hyderabad: TD leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari's son-in-law Latheesh Reddy was seriously injured when his car fell off from the Kothagudem flyover in Hayatnagar early on Monday. The victim was coming to Hyderabad from Choutuppal.
The car’s driver S.K. Basha also sustained severe injuries. Both of them were shifted to a corporate hospital. Nannapaneni visited the victim. Hayatnagar inspector P. Venkateswarlu said the car was speeding when it turned turtle and fell off the bridge.
“We suspect the driver must have fallen asleep while driving,” he said. The car was severely damaged and the victims were trapped inside. Locals pulled them out of the car and informed emergency services who shifted them to hospital. Cops said that Latheesh Reddy's leg was fractured. Hayatnagar police have registered an accident case.
