Hyderabad: Rakul Preet Singh, who is busy down South, has signed a big Hindi project. She is the main female lead in a Ramesh Sippy film titled Shimla Mirchi with Rajkummar Rao as the lead actor.
Hema Malini plays an important role in the film. Confirming the news Rakul Preet says that she is excited about the film and about working with Hema Malini. “Hema ji is playing my mother. I am glad that I got to work with a great actress like Hema Malini,” says Rakul Preet.
“It’s a well written role and working with Ramesh Sippy is like a dream come true. It’s such an honour,” says Rakul Preet talking about her role in Shimla Mirchi.
The actress is presently in Hyderabad shooting for three Telugu films, Pandaga Chesuko, Current Theega and an untitled film with Gopichand.
