Panel to review APSRTC division on July 1, files to be sent to both CMs

Hyderabad: The division of the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation, that is awaiting endorsement, will begin from July 1 when a three-member expert committee reviews the file.
“The division is done and the file prepared will be reviewed by the committee on July 1,” said Ramana Rao, Joint Managing Director, APSRTC.
The file submitted by the corporation, includes details about distribution of employees, assets and liabilities and files between the corporations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The file, if approved by the committee, will be sent ahead to the CMs of both states, a senior official of the corporation said. He ruled out any fare hike in the near future as it was cumbersome to get such a proposal approved.
