Indian planners to help in building up the new state of Telangana

Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has been depending on international consultants

Hyderabad: The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration at Mussoorie has offered to help the Telangana government in rebuilding the new state and has come up with several models for the development of Telangana.

While the K. Chandrasekhar Rao government has been taking the help of national agencies like the ISB, IIIT ASCI and the NIRD, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been depending on international consultants.

The Telangana government has already started initiatives with the Administrative Staff College of India for police reforms and with the ISB and the IIIT for an incubator for entrepreneurship.

Inspector general of police (provisions and logistics) Naveen Chand said, “The ASCI is helping us in policing issues. Likewise, we were told that that Mussoorie National Academy of Administration has offered to help the new Telangana state as they have numerous development models.”

The Indian School of Business, meanwhile, is working with the Telangana government to set up an “incubator for entrepreneurship development”.
