Hiked fare can be paid on train

Hyderabad: As announced, the Railways has revised the passenger fares with effect from June 25 for journeys commencing on or after that date. The revised fare will also be applicable to the tickets booked in advance for journeys on or after June 25. Passengers who bought tickets before June 25 should pay the difference in fares. “The South Central Railway will make arrangements by operating additional booking counters at major Passenger Reservation System Offices and deploy adequate ticket checking staff to collect the difference in advance or on the day of the journey,” a statement said.

The difference in fares can be remitted at the reservation counters at important Railway stations set up for the purpos
