Chandrababu Naidu ready to host CII summit

Andhra CM also promised to encourage young entrepreneurs

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the government has zeroed in on 10 places in the state to promote industrial activity.

During his meeting with a delegation from CII, Mr Naidu stressed on the need for a decentralised development of the state.

“The government has identified 10 places in the state, which are good candidates for industrialisation,” Mr Naidu said, add-ing that all stakeholders should work together for the industrialisation in Andhra Pradesh.

He asked the CII to hold an industrial summit at Vijayawada and promised them that the state government will make all the arrangements.

A delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry along with state government special representative at Delhi Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, and TDP MP and industrialist Galla Jayadev met Mr Naidu on Friday at his camp office on Friday.

The CII delegation asked Mr Naidu to make available infrastructure facilities like water, power and other things in those places.

Mr Naidu said that the government will introduce a single window system to accord all permissions at once and they need to concentrate only on setting up of manufacturing units.

Mr Naidu also promised to encourage young entrepreneurs and also big industrialists to set industries in the state.
