Hyderabad: Girls outshone in the engineering stream though all the top 10 ranks were bagged by boys. In the medical stream, they shared the top 10 ranks equally.
Telangana education minister G. Jagadish Reddy said the Optical Mark Recognition sheets will be uploaded on the Eamcet website and can be downloaded by students.
The answersheets will be available for download from 5 pm on Tuesday till 5 pm on Friday. Discrepancies can be reported during this period by candidates on www.apeamcet.org
by paying Rs 5,000. The amount will be refunded if the challenge is accepted.
The minister said counselling to engineering will be held from June 29 while counselling for the medical stream is yet to be scheduled. The minister said the qualifying percentage was 70.77 per cent in engineering and 83.16 per cent in medical. While at least 1.31 lakh seats in engineering colleges will remain vacant this year, competition for medical and dental seats has gotten tougher with 88,000 students qualifying for about 7,000 seats.
