Chandrababu Naidu to break record as CM of Andhra Pradesh for third time

Union minister Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the ceremony on behalf of PM

Hyderabad: Arrangements are in full swing for the swearing-in ceremony of Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on June 8. VVIPs and VIPs will arrive in five special flights at Gannavaram airport. Three helicopters will be kept ready to airlift the invitees to the venue.

Mr Naidu is going to create history by taking oath as a chief minister for the third time on June 8. Incidentally, he has had the longest tenure as CM after Kasu Brahmananda Reddy.

Union minister Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the ceremony on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi while a host of national lever leaders are expected. Meanwhile, Mr Naidu met the Governor on Friday to formally inform him about his swearing-in. YSRC chief has also been invited personally.
