Pop star Katy Perry has hinted that she will be writing songs on her break-up with artist John Mayer. The 29-year-old Roar hitmaker said that the songs will be inspired from her relationship failure, reported Cosmopoliton magazine.
“There is no bad blood. But I’m sure there will be inspired songs,” she said when asked about her relationship with Mayer. Mayer, 36, said that he is fine with Perry’s revelation, since that is what she is supposed to do. “I’m fine. That’s what you’re supposed to do, man. You’re supposed to write songs. You’re just not supposed to tell everybody you’re doing it,” he said.
