After the success of her debut directorial venture Vannakam Chennai, Kiruthiga Udhayanadhi was inundated with queries on what she would take up next. And we hear that none other than Dhanush came forward to back her venture.
Kiruthiga is all set to shoot for her next film which will be produced by Dhanush’s production house. Sources close to the director confirmed the news, saying, “Both Dhanush and Kiruthiga are planning an official announcement sometime this week. It’s too early to talk about the cast and crew, but it will be produced by Dhanush Wunderbar films.” One also hears that husband Udayanidhi Stalin could be cast in the lead. Our source adds that both Kiruthiga and Dhanush are keen on roping in Anirudh as the music director, as they have worked together in the past and are all good friends.
Dhanush who is busy shooting for Balki’s Shamitabh, K.V Anand’s Anegan and Velai Illa Pattadhari has taken his role as producer seriously, and is actively seeking out new and interesting scripts. The actor is also producing Sivakarthikeyan ‘s next film Taana, which is almost complete, and one hears he is keen on starting the new film soon.
