PM Narendra Modi eyes Hyderabad, vows to develop it into a 'smart city'

Hyderabad: Hyderabad would be developed as a ‘smart city’ with integration of advanced technologies, under the ‘100 smart cities’ plan mooted by the Modi government.

“Hyderabad with its extensive Outer Ring Road, interstate connectivity and transport system is the most suitable for the smart city concept,” said M. Venkaiah Naidu, who was here on Saturday for the first time after taking over Union development minister.
