Hyderabad: Sachin Joshi is back in Tollywood with the remake of the 2013 romantic Bollywood blockbuster Aashiqui 2.
He says, “Aashiqui 2 is a beautiful love story with heartfelt music breaking all records last year. We received an overwhelming response for a contest conducted over two weeks for the film’s title and have shortlisted Nee Jathaga Nenundali, which conveys the inseparable bond the two central characters share in the film”
Nazia Hussain, making her Tollywood debut, is the female lead. Jaya Ravindra of Bumper Offer fame is the director. The film was launched last month and the shooting had also started then. According to the producer, more than half of the shooting is over.
“We changed the script a little bit in the climax, but the rest of the film is close to the original,” says producer Bandla Ganesh. He plans to release the film in August.
