Apple will stream the WWDC14 Keynote live on June 2

Watch the keynote streaming video from this special event starting 10:30 pm IST

Apple has been gearing up to finally start its developer conference with a keynote. Tim Cook and a few other top executives will address the conference where Apple will reveal the latest iOS and OS X operating system platforms for the iPhone, iPad, iPod and Mac. A possible introduction of a new hardware is also speculated at the venue.

According to a report on Computer World, Apple will preview its iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 operating systems and will possibly also show off a new MacBook Air at the same venue, which will commence on June 2 and run up to June 6.

The conference would let developers get ample time on the new operating systems and APIs so that they can prepare for new apps and applications or tweak the existing ones.

Apple has a past of revealing new hardware at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and this is a reason to believe that the tech giant would show off the new MacBook Air, which is rumored to feature a Retina display.

Apple has finally confirmed a webcast of the event and has restricted its webcast to its own hardware or from an OSX powered machine only.

Live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.
