Mumbai: The actor-turned-filmmaker has been under a lot of pressure since the time he announced his film Dolly Ki Doli.
“The most inevitable question people ask me is whether or not Malaika would be doing an item number in our film. I don’t believe in forcing songs in my films. Dolly Ki Doli is our film and we both want the best for it. So far I don’t see any scope for an item number. Also I wouldn’t want Malaika to do a song just for the heck of it. It has to do justice to her stature.”
Arbaaz says that his wife has always been around for their films whenever she was required. However, he doesn’t deny that his creative team is working out a possibility of adding Malaika’s Midas touch to their home production. He says, “I’m aware that a large number of people want her to be a part of the film. I can assure them that we’re trying our best to chalk out a perfect space for her.”
